- Visit family-run guinguettes* for a typical French summer evening.
* A guinguette is a typically French, informal open-air café or pop-up eating and drinking place, usually on the banks of a river, lake or in a rural setting. The word refers to places where people gather in the summer to eat, drink, dance and enjoy music in a convivial, relaxed atmosphere. They are particularly popular during the warmer months.
